It brings a familiar, nostalgic feeling—a reminder of how special this time of year is and how wonderful it is to share it with the people we love most. We’re ready to dive into a season filled with sparkly, festive, and silly fun.

What We’re Shopping
Free People’s Autumn/Winter collection is turning heads this season with so many gorgeous pieces we can’t get enough of! We are in love with the ‘*Misha Vegan Trousers’ (right), these trousers are the perfect length, fit, and feel. The rich brown shade is this season’s go-to neutral, and the super-soft, comfy fabric means they’re ideal for all-day wear. They’re incredibly versatile too, so you can easily dress them up or down, making them a staple in any A/W wardrobe.
We’re also obsessed the ‘*Winter Valley Kimono’ (left), which perfectly captures Free People’s signature boho vibe. This free-flowing, relaxed piece works beautifully with jeans or a slip dress and is versatile enough to transition from winter to spring/summer with ease. We’ve paired it with our *Aster Straight-Leg Jeans and can confirm they are the perfect straight leg!
To complete any A/W look, a statement jacket is the finishing touch, and this ‘*Vegan Leather Jacket’ is an absolute must-have. Its quality is amazing, and it pairs effortlessly with everything, making it a piece you’ll turn to year after year. We’ve layered it below with the ‘*Most Likely Layering Top’ for a casual, chic evening outfit—perfect for a girls night out look. You can also shop this complete look at Selfridges Trafford.

Where to Eat & Drink
We’re entering the ultimate "more is more" season for food and drink, where roast season meets the festive celebrations— and we couldn’t be more excited!
We recently inhaled a Sunday roast at Medlock Canteen, with its generous portions, delicious sweet potato mash, and flavourful cabbage, it’s an ideal spot for those craving hearty comfort food. The team there are warm and attentive, creating a buzzing yet relaxed atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to unwind on a slow Sunday.
As we approach Christmas, Hawksmoor becomes a must-visit. Their philosophy? “No fuss, no clichés – just great food, good times, and a warm welcome.” A Hawksmoor Christmas is all about indulging in delicious dishes, good company, and the right amount of festive cheer. Picture juicy steaks, ultra-fresh seafood, and seasonal sides with a festive twist. It’s the kind of place where celebrating with friends and family feels both special and effortless. And for those watching their budget, Hawksmoor has options like their express menu (two or three courses, every day except Sunday) and their Monday Wine Club, where you can bring your own bottle for just a £5 corkage fee.
What’s On
The festive season is here, and it’s packed with so much merry fun it feels like there aren’t nearly enough days to fit it all in! It’s time to get your sparkle on gals—Christmas is (almost) here, and we’re in for a truly magical month ahead!
